Be in the Moment! CHALLENGE
Putting a lot more energy into finding five things that one appreciate in one’s life each day can help to keep us emotionally grounded. It is the simple act of kindness, a bird singing, a child playing, the opening of a door to a stranger that we often take for granted. Though this is something, I have been doing for many years now but unfortunately, the ups and downs of everyday life, can distract us from seeing these things, and often we forget to take the time to see the abundance and beauty of daily life.
What is it, that you are focusing on?
Have you ever asked what it is that you are putting your energy into? Are your thoughts preoccupied with everyday life? If you answer yes to any of these questions, then you are just like the rest of us. It is human nature sometimes to get court up in our physical world, after all, we do live in a physical realm, and we often forget to take the time to focus on the way we see our lives and the blessing in it and the achievements we make every day.
For me, working with spirit is a blessing in more ways than I can count. My guides are forever teaching me lessons, and sometimes to their disappointment, they have to teach me those lessons over and over again. Yes, I am guilty of letting life get in the way, and I do forget some of the lessons I have learnt but with the guidance of spirit, I often receive a gentle and loving reminder. I’m sure they are shaking their heads at me in bewilderment at times, but I also know they love me unconditionally and teach me to do the same.
The one thing spirit likes to remind me is that learning to be in the now and enjoying the moment is something I should cherish. Throughout April, I encourage you to find five things you appreciate each day and share them with your family and friends.
Once a week in April I will be posting on my Facebook page, five things I am grateful for and I would love to hear your five favourite moments you have found in that week.
Love Rebecca xx
